INDICATIONS AND CONTRA-INDICATIONS FOR PERIODIC DOSED HYPOBARIC HYPOXIA

INDICATIONS:
1. chronic inflammatory respiratory disease (bronchitis, tracheitis, pleural effusion and dry);
2. bronchial asthma;
3. allergic diseases (arthritis, dermatitis);
4. cardio-vascular disorders;
5. hypertension first and second stages;
6. endocrine diseases (diabetes mellitus, primary thyrotoxicosis);
7. toxic lesions of blood;
8. neurasthenia, logoneuroses;
9. pollinosis;
10. cough;
11. cardiovascular dysfunction;
12. iron deficiency anemia in remission;
13. neurodermatitis;
14. chronic fatigue syndrome;
15. asthenic conditions;
16. postinfarction cardiosclerosis (6 mo.);
17. soldier’s heart to hypertension and mixed types;
18. chronic inflammatory diseases of female genital mutilation;

 

   Virtually healthy people with risk factors in the home and the workplace:
19. risk factors for coronary heart disease (high blood cholesterol, overweight, low resistance to physical stress);
20. stressful nature of productive activities;
21. Neuropsychiatric disorders;
22. large physical overload;
23. effects of electromagnetic fields, computers, mobile and other communication systems;
24. improving the nervous and physical endurance athletes, pilots, sailors, riggers high-altitude, training climbers.

 

   CONTRAINDICATIONS:
1. severe course of bronchial asthma with symptoms of cardiopulmonary diseases;
2. ENT-acute purulent diseases in violation barofunction;
3. subcompensated heart failure, ischemic heart disease;
4. heart defects;
5. marked hepatic and renal failure;
6. pregnancy, fibroids with a tendency to bleeding;
7. Gastric ulcer in the phase of exacerbation;
8. exacerbation of chronic foci of infection, including chronic bronchitis in the acute stage;
9. violation of the Eustachian tube patency;
10. hernia of any location, except for HH;
11. effects of traumatic brain injury: epilepsy attacks;
12. Pulmonary tuberculosis;
13. cancer;
14. age of patients older than 60 years. Children under 4 years are taken from their parents or closest relatives.
Complex can be equipped with remote computer control patients’ adaptation to hypoxia, for example, a system of “Centaur-4", which allows:
   – Firstly, to ensure the safety of patients during treatment (control of cardiac rhythm on ECG and blood oxygen situation of FIGs);
   – Secondly, to follow the process of adaptation directly in the therapeutic process;
   – Thirdly, to continuously monitor and, if necessary, change the parameters of ambient air in a pressure chamber (pressure, the percentage of oxygen, carbon dioxide, temperature, humidity)
